The two elements I see used the most throughout this magazine cover are closure and proximity. Closure is being used by the model’s figure disrupting the font behind her, but you can still get the gist of the word behind her. Along with that, the surrounding text helps support the image, because you get an insight of the model on the cover and what topics to expect when you start reading through the magazine. Proximity is used throughout the image because the surrounding topics on the cover are quite close to each other. I really like the layout of this magazine cover and the design choices that were made. I find it to be very effective as a viewer, it is not overbearing, it’s easy to follow, creative, and eye-catching.

For my second image, I screenshot an image of a website that I, found showcased a good example of symmetry being used. Symmetry is being used through this website layout because all of the images are being shown in order next to each other. I found this design choice to be very effective for this website because it shows all the different design choices that the website offers to its users. It is presented in a very organized fashion and is easy to scroll through.
