What excites you the most about getting into web development/ tech?
Where to start – There are so many things that excite me about the tech world. For one I am excited to be learning something new in this chapter in my life. I have always been enthused about learning and yet I haven’t ventured more into the tech world yet, despite my ongoing interest in it. I am the most excited to learn new skills throughout the duration of this course and to challenge myself more.
What are your goals after this course, and what you plan on doing outside of class to help you get there?
My biggest goal once I complete this course is to secure a creative tech job rather it be in front end developing, graphic design or becoming a creative director. I want to venture into these fields the most because I find it to be a good balance between the analytical side of technology while still incorporating the creative and free thinking aspects, without it being so rigid. In order for me to properly achieve these steps I plan on utalizing and mastering the skills that I learned in this program to properly build projects to present to any future employers. I will also be practicing as much material as I can outside of class, and try to become as diligent as I possibly can with my work.
Are there any barriers that you are comfortable writing publicly about ?
A few challenges that I plan to overcome during the duration of this course are my attention span
skills as well as my procrastination. I struggle quite alot with both, and at times they hinder my ability to do my work to it’s full potential. This is something that I try to work though everyday, and want to get under control.
